Pros and cons of Yumget visual photo food diary app for iPhone and iPad

Yumget visual photo food diary app good for

I love how easy this app is to use. I was looking for a food diary with pictures and this one fits the bill. I tried other apps, and my spouse would always complained I would spend 5 minutes entering into my diary. With this app, all i need to do is take a picture. I hope a few extra features will be added in the future (graph analysis, etc…), but i understand this is the 1st version.
This app really helped me reach my goals of daily intake of veggies. Ive been using it in the last 3months and I can see the difference in how I eat.

Some bad moments

I try to personalize this app and it doesnt save my information. It wont save my birthdate nor my weight. If it cant save this info it cant be any use to me. I cant trust it to save the correct food items either.
First red flag - you have to creat an account to even open the app Second red flag - it crashed after I took my first photo! Third and subsequent red flags- it doesnt give the option to save food items half the time, plus the entire photo doesnt fit in its photo frame, and it seems to be completely arbitrary how it determines how much of something I ate. Clunky interface too, and one page is labeled root view. Not well done. Not worth the cost even when free. Ill stick with LoseIt and MyFitnessPal.
Worthless. Had high hopes. Apple needs to remove until they make it work. Shuts down before I can add anything. Try to fill in info and you cant read it because it doesnt delete the default text. Waste of time
I irrited with this app because every time when you acess the app, you should insert the same information besides being confused and I cant erase when some wrong item.
I like the idea you take picture of your meals and enter the data later. Great app! Developers are also very responsive to feedback.
This app is the easiest food diary to use. It really works well, I love it.
